Replacement name for Caecilius platytaenius Li Fasheng (1995d: 158.) preoccupied by Caecilius platytaenus Li Fasheng (1992f: 214), NOTE: This replacement name is justified because the one-letter difference between platytaenus and platytaenius is not sufficent to prevent homonymy (cf. ICZN, 4th ed., 1999, art. 58.15.). In Lienhard & Smithers (2002) this species is mentioned as Valenzuela platytaenius (Li Fasheng) according to Mockford (2000: 382).
