Scrutiny:
Li, 2002, NOTE: Valenzuela platytaenius (Li Fasheng (1995)) sensu Mockford (2000: 382) is erroneously also declared as a synonym of C. medivittatus by Li Fasheng (2002a: 355). This 1995-species listed by Mockford is Caecilius platytaenius Li Fasheng (1995d: 158), and is evidently not identical with the above mentioned Caecilius platytaenus Li Fasheng (1992). Li Fasheng (2002a: 473) mentions the 1995-species as Caecilius immensifascus, a replacement name for platytaenius Li Fasheng (1995) (see comments under Caecilius immensifascus).
