• Nomenclatural details:  NOTE: One of us (C. L.) has recently examined two females of this very characteristic endemic species (Saint Helena: Peak Dale, 7.II.1995, leg. N. P. Ashmole & M. J. Ashmole). There is no doubt that the descriptions of Badonnel (1976c) and New (1977f) both apply to the same species.
