Content:  NOTE: The subgenera included in Echmepteryx s. l. are defined mainly on venational features which, in this group, are very variable. In this catalogue the subgenera to which authors have ascribed species are indicated in brackets after the currently accepted species name. Some authors (e. g. Badonnel, 1967a) have not taken into account the subgeneric arrangement of Roesler (1944) and by others some species have not been allocated to subgenera at the time of description. In these cases there is no indication given here as to which subgenus the species should be allocated.
